These codes are used by the Administrative Offices of the Courts to identify the type of case filing:

CR    Circuit Criminal

CI     Circuit Civil Over $5,000

XX   District Court Appeals to Circuit Court

AD    Adoptions

C     District Civil $5,000 or less

S    Small Claims $2,5000 or less

P     Probate

J     Juvenile (paternity, Dependency, Neglect and Abuse, Status Offenses, Delinquency)

H     Mental Health (Involuntary hospitalization, Disability, Casey’s Law)

D     Domestic Violence (EPO, DVO, TIPO, IPO)

T      Traffic

M     Misdemeanors

F       Felony
